In this one-day workshop, participants will learn about essential strategies and trends in the world of academic publishing. Designed specifically for post-doctoral researchers, this workshop aims to equip participants with the tools and insights they need to successfully publish their research while navigating the evolving landscape of academic publishing. Through a combination of presentations, discussions, and practical exercises, participants will learn how to create an effective publication strategy, understand different publishing cultures and peer-review processes, and stay up to date on the latest trends like open access and AI in publishing.
Each part of the workshop includes dedicated time for questions and peer feedback.

At the latest, once your dissertation is complete, you will need to consider publishing your text. Organising conferences and workshops or engaging with relevant topics can also spark the desire to publish your findings.
This workshop consists of two parts: Following a concise presentation on the fundamentals of academic publishing, participants will have the opportunity to ask any pressing questions they may have—whether about their own publication or about publishing in general.
