DESCRIPTION:This online workshop is designed for is aimed at mid-career to senior academics from diverse disciplines who regularly present their work to international\, mixed-expertise audiences. Whether speaking to colleagues outside of the field\, addressing interdisciplinary panels\, or contributing to online colloquia\, the challenge is always the same: translating complex research into a clear\, engaging\, and time-efficient story – in English – without oversimplifying or losing academic precision. \nThrough a combination of practical input\, guided exercises\, and peer feedback\, participants will learn how to structure an effective online presentation\, manage time confidently\, and design visuals that support – rather than distract from – their message. The workshop pays particular attention to the communication challenges faced by non-native English speakers\, offering strategies for clarity\, precision\, and audience engagement in a digital environment. \nBy the end of the workshop\, participants will be equipped with practical tools to communicate their research more effectively in online settings — clearly\, succinctly\, and with lasting impact. \n  \nCoach: Barbara Budrich
